Abstract
Fan assembly installation movie for IBM System x3650 T (Type 7980)
Content
To install the Fan Assembly:
- Position the fan assembly in the chassis using the plastic guide located on the right side frame and the alignment pins in the base as a guide.
- Tighten the single captive screw to secure.
- Connect the four fan power cables to the front panel board.
- Place the fan guard in position using the tab on the cover, the slot in the chassis, and the screw holes for alignment and secure with the two captive screws.

Install the Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward until latched in place.
