Abstract
Riser card installation movie for IBM System x3650 T (Type 7980)
Content
To Install the Riser Card:
- Connect the power cable.
- Place the PCI Riser Card in the assembly using the four mounting studs for alignment.
- Slide the card to the front of the system until latched in place.
Install the Riser Card Assembly:
- Insert the Riser Card Assembly into the chassis using the slots on the assembly and the pins on the chassis for alignment and press down to seat.
- Connect the PCI Card Carrier cable.
- Here is a closer look at one of the slots in the assembly and a pin on the chassis.
Install the Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward until latched in place.
- Here is a closer look at a cover tab and a slot in the chassis.
