Abstract
Heat sink filler removal movie for the IBM System x3650.
Content
To remove the Heat sink filler:
Turn off the server and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the Cover:
- Press in the cover release latch and rotate up while sliding the cover to the rear approximately one-half inch.
- Lift the cover off and place to the side.
Remove the Heat Sink Filler:
- Rotate the locking lever to the open position and grasp the filler and rotate it up and out of the heat sink bracket.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
