Abstract
Hot-Swap fan bracket removal movie for the IBM System x3650.
Content
To remove the Hot-Swap fan bracket:
Turn off the server and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the cover:
- Press in the cover release latch and rotate up while sliding the cover the rear approximately one-half inch.
- Lift the cover off and place to the side.
Remove the Hot-Swap Fan Bracket:
- Lift up on the two fan bracket levers and lift the bracket out of the chassis and place aside.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
