Abstract
Hot-Swap fan installation movie for the IBM System x3650.
Content
To install a Hot-Swap fan:
- Position the fan over the bracket using the power connector as a guide and press the fan into bracket until it is seated.
Note: The fan connector must remain free to self align.
- Use the same procedure to install any additional fans if required.
Install the Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch to the closed position.
