IBM System x3550 (Type 1013, 1913, 7978) - Battery installation movie
Content
To install the Battery:
- Position the battery in the retainer and press to seat.
Install Riser Card Assembly 1:
- Position the Riser Card Assembly over the socket, gently press down to seat. Insure that the tab on the rear of the assembly is fully seated into the slot in the chassis.
Install the Top Cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward and secure with the single captive screw.
- Rotate the fan door to the closed and latched position.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
