Abstract
IBM System x3550 (Type 1013, 1913, 7978) - Hot-Swap Hard Disk Drive removal movie
Content
To remove the Hot-Swap Hard Disk Drive:
- Press the release latch and rotate the drive tray handle to the open position.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds for the drive to spin down.
- Then pull the drive from the bay. Use the same procedure to remove any additional drives.
Note: If removal of a filler plate is required grasp the finger hole and pull the plate from the bay.
