Content
To install a DIMM:
- Ensure that the retention latches are open and insert the DIMM straight into the socket, pressing down on both corners of the DIMM at the same time until secured by the latches.
Note: Refer to the PDSG for specific details on populating memory
Install the Memory Card:
- Position the memory card in the card guides. Slide the card into the connector and align the ends of the retention levers into the channels; then close both retention levers, seating the card into the socket..
- Wait 2 seconds then slide the orange release latch to the locked position enabling power to the card.
Install the Top Cover:
- Position the cover on top of the server so that the tabs on the cover align with the slots on the chassis.
- Make sure that the cover-release latch is up.
- Slide the top cover forward while pressing the release latch closed.
