To install the optical drive backplane
- Place the backplane in the server using the screw holes for alignment and secure with the two screws.
- Connect the power and signal cables to the backplane.
Install the optical drive:
- Slide the drive into the bay until secured in place by the latch.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward, ensuring that the channel in the front of the cover engages edge on the chassis, and secure with the single captive screw.
