To install the front hard disk drive

1. Place the cage over the drive and secure with the four screws.
2. Place the drive cage assembly into the server and slide it forward until it is secured by the tabs in the chassis.
3. Rotate the drive cage assembly retention latch to the closed position.
4. Connect the dard disk cable connector.
5. Here is a closer look at a tab in the chassis and a slot in the cage.
6. Connect the power and signal cables to the optical drive backplane.
7. Use the same procedure to install the rear hard disk drive.

Install the optical drive:

1. Slide the drive into the bay until secured in place by the latch.

Install the top cover:

1. Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
2. Slide the cover forward, ensuring that the channel in the front of the cover engages edge on the chassis, and secure with the single captive screw.
