Text from the audio portion of the power supply structure removal movie
To remove the power supply structure:
Turn off the server and all peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
-
Rotate the top cover release latch up and slide the cover approximately one-half inch to the rear.

Lift the cover off and place it aside.
Remove the power supplies:

Rotate the power-supply handle to the open position and lift the power supply out of the bay.
Remove the power supply structure:
-
Push the two blue latches on the structure toward the front of the server to disengage the structure from the chassis.

Grasp the handle in the middle of the structure and lift the structure out of the server.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
