To install the USB cable:
- Position one side of the connector into the cutout in the chassis, and then use a flat blade probe to squeeze the other latch while pivoting the connector towards the chassis.

Release the spring latch to secure the connector in place.
Here's a closer look at spring retainer latching action.
- Connect the cable to the system board.
- With the fan-locking handle in the open position lower the fan into the socket.
- Rotate the fan locking handle to the closed position.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
