To install an operator information panel assembly

Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.

To install the operator information panel assembly:

1. Thread the ribbon cable through the cutout in the front bezel then slide the operator information panel into the server until it clicks into place.
2. Secure the ribbon cable to the top of the panel enclosure using the Velcro fastener.
3. Connect the ribbon cable to the System Board.

Install the fan bracket assembly:

1. Using the guides on the assembly and the slots in the chassis for alignment lower the fan-bracket assembly into the chassis.
2. Push the fan-bracket-assembly levers toward the rear of the server until they stop then pinch the release latches and metal tabs together and push the levers down into place.
3. Press down on the metal tabs and the fans to be sure the fan-bracket assembly is fully seated.

Install the top cover:

1. Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
2. Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
