To install an optical drive media backplane
- Position the backplane in the chassis using the screw holes for alignment and secure with the two screws.
- Connect the power and signal cables to the backplane.
- Slide the drive into the bay until secured in place by the latch.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
