To remove a hot-swap hard drive
- Press the release latch and rotate the drive tray handle to the open position.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds for the drive to spin down. Then pull the drive from the bay.
- To remove filler plate, insert your finger into the finger hole and pull the filler plate from the bay.
- Use the same procedure to remove any additional drives or filler plates.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
