Text from the audio portion of the SAS/SATA controller installation movie
To install a SAS/SATA controller
- Insert the controller into the connector at a 45 degree angle and press down firmly until seated on the plastic standoffs.
- Connect the signal cable to the controller.
- Return the server to its operational position.
Install the side cover:
- Position the cover over the ledge on the bottom of the chassis.
- Rotate the cover toward the server until secured by the latch.
- Lock the cover if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
