Text from the audio portion of the serial 2 cable installation movie
To install a serial 2 cable
- Position the connector in the port cutout on the rear chassis using the screw holes for alignment and secure with the two hex studs.
- Connect the cable to the system board.
- Return the server to its operational position.
Install the side cover:
- Position the cover over the ledge on the bottom of the chassis.
- Rotate the cover toward the server until secured by the latch.
- Lock the cover if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
