To install a intrusion switch
- Feed the cable through the cutout in the chassis and place the switch in the cutout with the latches positioned to the front and rear.
- Press down on the switch until latched in place.
- Connect the cable to the system board
- Return the server to its operational position.
Install the side cover:
- Position the cover over the ledge on the bottom of the chassis.
- Rotate the cover toward the server until secured by the latch.
- Lock the cover if required.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
