Text from the audio portion of the DIMM installation movie
To install a DIMM
-
Ensure that the retention latches are open.
-
Insert the DIMM straight into the slot, pressing down on both corners of the DIMM at the same time until secured by the latches.

Release the spring retainer and rotate the drive cage down. Secure with the single thumbscrew.

Connect the drive power cable.
Install the Cover:
-
Place the front edge of the cover into position on the front edge of the server and lower the cover onto the chassis.

Slide the cover toward the front of the server and secure with the two thumbscrews.
-
Return the server to its normal operating position.
