Abstract

Text from the audio portion of the optical drive installation movie
To install a Drive in Bay 1 or 2
-
Place the drive retainer clip on the drive using the screw holes for alignment.

Slide the drive into the bay until it latches in place.

Connect the power and signal cables to the drive.
Install the Cover:
-
Place the front edge of the cover into position on the front edge of the server and lower the cover onto the chassis.

Slide the cover toward the front of the server and secure with the two thumbscrews.
-
Return the server to its normal operating position.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
