To remove the power supply:

1. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.

Remove the top cover:

1. Lift the cover-release latch handle.
   
2. Slide the cover to the rear, approximately one-half inch.
   
3. Lift the cover off the server.

Remove the memory card:

1. Open release latch 1. Then, open release latch 2 and pull the card from the server.
2. Place the card on a static-protective surface.

Note: If memory mirroring is enabled, you can hot-replace one memory card at a time on each memory power bus.

• The memory hot-swap enabled LED indicates that hot-swap memory is enabled.
  
• The error LED indicates that a DIMM has failed.
  
• The memory port power LED turns off to indicate that power has been removed from the port and you can replace a failed DIMM.

Remove the power supply:

1. Disconnect the power cord from the connector on the back of the power supply.
2. Depress the release latch.
3. Rotate the power supply handle up and lift out the power supply.
4. Slide the locking handles toward the front of the server to release the assembly.
5. Lift the assembly up and out of the server.
