To install a hot-swap hard disk drive:
- Ensure that the drive tray handle is in the open position. Align the drive tray assembly so that it engages the guide rails in the bay.
- Gently push the assembly into the bay until the drive connects to the backplane.
- Rotate the drive tray handle to the closed position.
Note: When installing a hard drive, it may be necessary to remove a filler panel. To remove a filler panel, grasp it and pull it from the bay.
