Abstract
Instructions for removing the back panel assembly of an xSeries 226 server.

Text from the audio portion of the back panel removal movie
To remove the back panel for SATA models:
- Remove the front door.
- Remove the drive.
- Remove the side cover.
- Place the server in the service position.
- Remove the support bracket.
- Disconnect the two SATA cables from the system board.
- Press the drive cage release latch towards the bottom of the machine and rotate the drive cage to the open position.
- Disconnect the power cables from the SATA back panel.
- Remove the 3 screws that secure the back panel.
- Carefully lift the panel assembly with attached SATA cables off the server.
