To remove a Processor Fan:
- Slide both latches to the open position and rotate the cover open.
- Disconnect the power connector for the desired fan from the power distribution board.
- Grasp the air flow indicator label and pull the fan straight up and out of the bracket.
- Use the same procedure to remove additional fans, if necessary.
To remove the bracket:
- Remove the two screws.
- Rotate and lift the bracket far enough out of the server to disconnect the cable and then lift it out of the server.
