Instructions for removing the DVD drive (primary) from an xSeries 336 server.

Text from the audio portion of the DVD drive (primary) removal movie
To remove the DVD:
- Remove the hard disk drive cage.
- Release the latch for the I/O fan cover and open the cover.
- Rotate the two cage release latches up, which slides the assembly forward and frees it from the chassis. You might find it helpful to use a probe to release the latches.
- Gently lift the cage, close the cage release latches, and then lay it on its back to gain access to the DVD.
- Press in on the DVD release latch and using your finger slide the DVD from the bay and placed to the side.
If the release latch did not come off the assembly, lift it from the DVD drive.
