To remove the Riser Cards:
Open the main cover:
- Release the latch for the I/O fan cover and open the cover.
- Release the latch for the processor fan cover and open the cover.
- Press in the cover release latch and rotate it up while sliding the cover to the rear approximately one-half inch.
- Lift the cover off and place it to the side.
Remove the full-length riser card:
- Push out on the two latches that secure the riser card.
- Lift the riser card out of the socket and place it on the ESD protected surface.
Remove the low-profile riser card:
- Push out on the two latches that secure the riser card.
- Lift the riser card out of the socket and place on the ESD protected surface.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
