Instructions for installing the memory in an xSeries 336 server.

To install a DIMM:
- Ensure that the retention latches are open.
- Insert the DIMM straight into the slot, pressing down on both corners of the DIMM at the same time until secured by the latches.

Close the main cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch to the closed position.
- Close the processor fan door and ensure that the latch is locked.
- Close the I/O fan door and ensure that the latch is locked.
