Abstract
Instructions for installing the battery in an xSeries 336.

To install the Battery:
- Position the battery into the battery retainer.
- Push down until secured by the retaining spring clip.
Close the main cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch to the closed position.
- Close the processor fan door and ensure that the latch is locked.
- Close the I/O fan door and ensure that the latch is locked.
Here is a closer look at the cover tab and the slot in the chassis.
