Text description of CD-ROM and diskette drive installation
To install the diskette drive in the drive cage:
- Slide the drive into the cage.
- Insert the spring clip, and secure it.
- Insert the interposer card behind the tab on the frame, and secure it with the single screw.
- Then, slide the CD-ROM drive into the cage, and seat it on the connectors.
- Insert the spring clip into the drive, and secure it.Here is a closer look at the spring clip.
- Insert the diskette drive cable into the ZIF connector.
- Pull the cable through the back cutout while guiding the cage into the bay.
- Connect the CD-ROM IDE cable and the power cable.
