Text description of CD-ROM and diskette drive removal
To remove the CD-ROM/diskette drive cage:
- Disconnect the power cable and CD-ROM IDE cable.
- Release the latch, and pull out the cage.
- Release the ZIF connector, and disconnect the diskette drive cable.
To remove the CD-ROM and diskette drive from the drive cage:
- Release the spring clip.
- Slide the drive off the connectors and out of the cage.
- Remove the single screw to the interposer card, and lift off the card.
- Release the spring clip to the diskette drive, and slide the drive out of the cage.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
