Text description of hard drive removal
To remove the hard drive assembly:
- Disconnect the SCSI cable and the power cable
- Slide the assembly out.
To remove the drive from the assembly:
- Remove the two screws, and lift the cable retainer out.
- Disconnect the SCSI cable from the drive, and lift out the cable.
- Disconnect the power cable from the drive.
- Remove the power cable from the assembly.
- Turn the assembly over.
- Remove the three screws.
- Lift the assembly off the drive.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
