Text description of hard drive installation
To install the hard drive assembly:
- Position the assembly on the drive.
- Secure it with the three screws.
- Insert the power cable into the cutout.
- Connect the power cable to the drive.
- Connect the SCSI cable to the drive, and insert the other end into the cutout in the assembly.
- Insert the tabs on the retainer into the slots on the assembly, and rotate the retainer down.
- Secure it with the two screws.
- Hold the cables out of the way.
- Align the assembly with the cutout in the chassis, and slide the assembly into the chassis.
- Connect the power cable and the SCSI cable.
