Text description of floppy diskette drive and CD-ROM drive installation
To install the CD-ROM/diskette drive assembly:
- Install the power cable.
- Position the holes on the drive over the pins on the tray, and snap the diskette drive into place.
- Here is a closer look at the pins.
- Connect the diskette cable.
- Position the holes on the drive over the pins on the tray, and snap the CD-ROM drive into place.
- Connect the interposer card.
- Secure it with the two screws.
- Guide the signal cable through the cutout while sliding the drives into the chassis.
- Tighten the thumbscrew, and connect the power cable.
- Connect the signal cable to the system board.
- Ensure that it is seated.
