Installation

1. Download the fixpack from IBM Fix Central and launch the installer:

• Windows: Double-click on the installer or launch it from a command window.
• Linux: 
    chmod +x <Package_name>
    ./<Package_name>
• macOS:
      chmod +x <Package_name>
      ./<Package_name>

2. This fixpack installer will install the fix over your existing installation. Your current installation will first be backed up. Selecting Enter will assume that you originally installed IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio to the default location (shown in square brackets). If you did not originally install to the default location, type in the actual location at the prompt.
NOTE: If you have made local changes to your current install (for example, adding new examples or modifying existing ones), these will only be preserved in the backup directory after installing the fixpack. If you want to preserve any changes like this that you have made, then copy the contents of these examples folders in the backup directory into the IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio install directory after fixpack installation.

3. The installer backs up the original installation folder to <Install_directory>.bkp.

4. The installer extracts the fixpack into the installation folder.

NOTE: The macOS installer can generate a notarization error when downloaded via Web browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, and Safari). If you get this error, then download via SFTP from Fix Central.
