PH66873: A .MSD FILE CREATED USING MSDIMPORT, WHEN OPENED IN IFD, OPENS ALL SYSTEM WINDOWS. ON TRYING TO CLOSE THESE WINDOWS, IFD CRASHES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A system definition source file created using msdimport, when
  opened in Integration Flow Designer opens all the system
  windows.
  
  When these windows are closed one after another, the Integration
  
  Flow Designer crashes after a few closures.

  Circumvention: The "Close all" option from the Window menu of
  the Integration Flow Designer can be used to close all the open
  systems windows.

  Problem Description:
  msdexport-msdimport functionality creates a new MSD which will
  open only as many many windows as the old MSD from which it was
  created.
  
  Platforms Affected:

Problem conclusion

• The msdImport and IFD import functionalities have been corrected
  to create a new MSD with no system file open by default.
  
  Applies to:
  10.1.0.2, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.1, 11.0.0.0, 11.0.1.1
