Error description

  • IBM Transformation Extender(ITX) Application (Command Server,
Launcher, Integration with ACE or API) crashes randomly.

The possible stack trace is as follows, but there could be
    other stack traces.

    mercStackTrace
    mercExceptHandler
    sigSegvHandler
    RMOpenConnection
    IPRA.$RMGetPutResource
    RMEncodeDecodeResource
    mercexit.MercExitProcEx
    mercioex.MercExitProc
    CallExitProc
    FindOperand
    ExecuteMapRule
    ExecuteMap

The reason for the crash is invalid exception handling by the
AIX runtime which requires fixes in the compiler and the
    runtime.

The random crashes can be resolved by applying both of the
    following.

1.Use the latest V17.1.1.4 C++ Runtime PTF from the following
    URL Link.

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/fix-list-xl-cc-runtime-aix

    2. Contact ITX Support to obtain an ITX build 71 or higher which

is from the 15th of January 2025.
