Summary
In Maximo Application Suite 9.1, you can export or download users' data to an external file system for backup or importing to another Maximo Application Suite instance. The purpose of this documentation is to describe the options to export users' data and steps to be followed.
Steps
Export users' data to a csv file as a template for import
1. Login into Maximo Application Suite 9.1;
2. Go to Suite > Security > Users:

3. Filter (or not) the user or users you want to export:

4. Click Export option:

5. Select Export custom columns, clear Template name and click Export:

Important: At this point, if you are not able to generate the csv file, follow the instructions described on Export option does not complete the download process in MAS 9.1
6. Open the csv file generated:

To update users' data, follow the instructions described in documentation: How to update users' data using import functionality in MAS 9.1
Important:
In this scenario, do not use Export visible table columns or Template option as required fields are not include in these options.
Export users' data visible in MAS
1. Login into Maximo Application Suite 9.1;
2. Go to Suite > Security > Users:

3. Filter (or not) the user or users you want to export:

4. Click Export option:

5. Select Export visible columns and click Export:

Important: At this point, if you are not able to generate the csv file, follow the instructions described on Export option does not complete the download process in MAS 9.1
6. Open the csv file generated:

7. Check that the csv file contains PERSON data, so USERID is not included. This is a known issue under defect DT452312 already fixed in Manage Base - Patch 9.1.5.

Export users' data customizing the csv file
1. Login into Maximo Application Suite 9.1;
2. Go to Manage > Integration > Object Structures:

3. Search for MASPERUSER object structure:

4. Click Query Template in More Actions:

5. Click New Row in Query Templates for MASPERUSER section:

6. Provide a Template Name:

7. Click New Row in Query Template Attributes section:

8. Add the Attribute Names you want to export in csv file and click OK.
Check that the primary object for MASPERUSER is PERSON, so the attributes added have to follow the relationships between the objects, following the format relationship.relationship.attribute in lower case:

For example:
- To export USERID from MAXUSER table, type user.userid:

- To export LOGINTYPE from MASUSERIDP table, type user.masuseridp.logintype:

9. Go to Suite > Security > Users:

10. Filter (or not) the user or users you want to export:

11. Click Export option:

12. Select Export custom columns, select the Template Name created and click Export:
