INSTALLATION

Installation prerequisites
One of the following versions of the base product must be installed:
- 11.0.2.0
- 11.0.1.1
- 11.0.0.0
- 10.1.2.1
- 10.1.1.1
- 10.1.0.2
Note: All design server projects are recommended to install latest version of design server.
To enable MT validation, install the latest Pack for Financial Payments.
This product is supported on the same platforms as the prerequisite products.
Deploying the pack to other operating systems
See the individual component documentation for information on deploying to other operating system platforms.
Installing the pack on Windows systems
Follow these steps to install the pack on Windows systems:
- Obtain the image from Passport Advantage.
- The pack will not require any installation program.

To install:
- Select signed zip based on preferred TX version.
- Unzip the signed.zip file to a temporary folder.
- Navigate to the temporary folder, select the .zip file.
- Right-click to select Extract All, and then Select a Destination and Extract Files on Files will be extracted to this folder:
- Click Browse and navigate under <TX_install_dir>
For TX V11.0.2, define folder C:/IBM/TransformationExtender_11.0.2 - Select the packs folder (create folder if needed).
- Click Extract.
- Verify folder was created, that is
<install_dir>/packs/financial_payments_plus_v11.0.2.0
For TX V11.0.2, under C:/IBM/TransformationExtender_11.0.2/ packs/financial_payments_plus_v11.0.2.0 - Read the license files.
To uninstall:
- Delete the 'financial_payments_plus_v11.0.2.0' folder that was created in previous step.
- Delete the temporary folder and all its contents after extraction.
- IBM_financialpaymentsplus_11.0.2.0.zip.signed.zip
To install:
- Unzip the signed.zip file to a temporary folder.
- Navigate to the temporary folder.
- Read the license files.
- Select and import project zip using Design Server UI.
To uninstall:
- Delete the project previously imported.
- Delete the temporary folder and all its contents after extraction.
USING THE PACK WITH THE IBM DESIGN SERVER

- Login to the Design Server.
- Click the Import Project icon.
- In the Import Project dialog, drag the .zip file into the Project Zip File box.
- Click the Import button to import the project.

The project import files are provided as a convenience and should not be used with Windows based Design Studio implementations.
You must have administrative privileges to import the projects.

CONFIGURATION FOR RUNNING TRANSLATION

The cbprJnodesConfigIBM.tar.gz file is available either in: IBM_financialpaymentsplus_11.0.2.0.zip or within the UIProjectImports directory.
The UIProjectImports directory is in the following location:
<install_dir>/packs/financial_payments_plus_vn.n.n.n/UIProjectImports
Where <install_dir> is the installed location of the base product and n.n.n.n is the current version of the pack.
The following artifacts needs to be copied based on the environment setup:
- jnodes0.jar
- jackson-core-n.n.n.jar
- jackson-annotations-n.n.n.jar
- jackson-databind-n.n.n.jar
or visit https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/fasterxml/jackson/core/ for download.
Recommended version 2.15.0 or higher.
Configuration files for Design Studio environments:
- Copy jars to <TX_install_dir>/extjars
Configuration files for Design Server environments:
- Copy jars into the directory defined in config.yaml server.persistence.libs, by default, this is set to /opt/txlibs.
CONFIGURATION FOR MT VALIDATION

If you need the MT validation messages, proceed as follows:
- Install the latest version of the Pack for Financial Payments.
- Extract the swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz file available from the Pack of Financial Payments.

CONFIGURATION FILES FOR DESIGN SERVER
=====================================================================
Using the Pack for Financial Payments, the swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz file is available either in:
IBM_financialpayments_11.0.2.0.zip or within the UIProjectImports directory.
Use these steps to run this file:
Extract the swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz file.
Perform the following steps in the same directory location as the Design Server is installed:
- Create a temporary directory called packs.
Example: /home/user/packs - For UNIX environment, FTP (in binary mode) the swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz to the pack's directory defined in step 1.
- Untar the swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz file.
Example:
$ tar -zxf swiftMTjvcConfig.tar.gz - For container based Design Server installation,
- Run the jvcsetup.sh script.
For example:
$ ./jvcsetup.sh
The script copies the following to the ITX server:- jvcwrap.jar
- jvalccyy.jar
- packs/swift folder and sub-folders, includes the jvalccyy.prop and XML metadata.
- OPTIONAL: Run the cleanjvc.sh script.
For example:
$ ./cleanjvc.sh
The script removes the following to the ITX server:- jvcwrap.jar
- jvalccyy.jar
- packs/swift folder and sub-folders, includes the jvalccyy.prop and XML metadata.
- Run the jvcsetup.sh script.
- For Native based Design Server installation,
- Copy the following into the directory defined in config.yaml server.persistence.libs, by default, this is set to /opt/txlibs.

jvalccyy.jar - Restart the running application ./ITX stop and then ./ITX start
- Copy the following into the directory defined in config.yaml server.persistence.libs, by default, this is set to /opt/txlibs.
- After importing the cbpr_translation.zip project,
- jvalccyy.prop file must be copied into the ‘workdir’ directory under directory set in the config.yaml server.persistence.files, default setting is /opt/txfiles/workdir.
- On the project, update the map rule on the validate_messages_enh map, on output card #1 item JvalPropPath. Change the map rule from =NONE to the location of the jvalccyy.prop.
- Example:
- On UNIX
- ="DS_DATA_DIR/workdir"
- On WINDOWS
- ="DS_DATA_DIR\\workdir"
- DS_DATA_DIR refers to the Design Server data directory, set in the config.yaml server.persistence.files previously TX_FILE_DIR.

- Restart Design Server: ./ITX stop and ./ITX start
PREREQUISITES
- openssl
- openssl WINDOWS binaries are available on https://sourceforge.net/projects/openssl-for-windows/.
- Set PATH variables in the WINDOWS command prompt, i.e, setx PATH "%PATH%;<directory path containing openssl.exe>".
- Zip file that was signed
- Signature (*.zip.sig)
- Public key (*.pub.key)
- Certificate (*.cer)
- Certificate chain (*.chain)
- Using openssl with the signature file, public key, and the zip file distro, validate the digital signature:
openssl dgst -sha256 -verify HCLITXkey.pem.pub.key -signature <signature file>.zip.sig <zip file distro>.zip
Example:

Expected result:
“Verified OK”. - Optional: Verify that the public key comes from the provided certificate.
- Extract the public key from the certificate:

Expected result:
Content from step 2.1 should match the content of step 2.2.
- Extract the public key from the certificate:
- Optional: Validate the code signing certificate.
- Validate the certificate that was used to sign the zip file distro:

Usage date is within “notBefore” and “notAfter” date attributes. - Verify that the certificate has not been revoked:

GLOSSARY
====================================================================
The European Banking Association Clearing (EBA) EURO1/STEP1 (E1S1) system processes transactions of high priority and urgency, and primarily of large amount, both at a domestic and at a cross-border level. EURO1 is the only private sector large-value payment system for single same-day euro transactions at a pan-European level. STEP1 is a same-day single payment service and processes retail payment orders and bank-to-bank transfers related to such commercial transactions.
The National Bank of Romania (NBOR) ReGIS is the national funds transfer system with real-time gross settlement (RTGS) for payments in LEI currency owned and operated by the National Bank of Romania, used for the settlement of central bank's monetary policy operations, interbank transfers, operations of other financial market infrastructures that operate at the national level, as well as payments initiated by participants on behalf of their customers, regardless of value.
The National Bank of Romania (NBOR) SaFIR is the securities and settlement system operated by the National Bank of Romania, used for the the registration, safekeeping, and settlement of financial instruments in central bank money. SaFIR is fully integrated with NBOR ReGIS, the national RTGS system enabling Delivery-versus-Payment settlement for securities transactions.
The Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) SORBNET3 is the real-time gross settlement (RTGS) system operated by the central bank of Poland. It is used for the settlement of high-value interbank payments in Polish zloty (PLN). SORBNET3 process payments individually and in real time, using central bank money.
The TARGET2 (T2) Central Liquidity Management (CLM) component enables its participants to optimize their liquidity management, to group their accounts and to pool the available intraday liquidity for the benefit of all members of the group. It allows participants to control their liquidity outflow by setting limits, actively managing payment queues or prioritizing certain payments.
The TARGET2 (T2) Common Components (CoCo) are set of extracted Common Reference Data Management (CRDM) messages related to common components. CRDM provides common reference data management features that allows participants to create and maintain common reference data for configuration of data related parties, cash accounts, rules and parameters.
The TARGET2 (T2) Securities (T2S) is a European securities settlement platform developed by the Eurosystem. It aims to harmonize and integrate the settlement of securities transaction across Europe. It helps improve liquidity, reduce risks, and enhance the overall stability of financial markets in Europe.
The Bank of England Clearing House Automated Payment System (CHAPS) is a sterling same-day system that is used to settle the high-value wholesale payments as well as time-critical lower-value payments, like buying or paying a deposit on a property. CHAPS migration to ISO20022 will be done in:
- Phase 1 all DP or direct participant will use like-for-like (L4L) ISO20022 messaging, easy to translate back to existing MT messaging, since there will be no additional data requirements.
- Phase 2 all DP or direct participant will use enhanced (ENH) ISO20022 messaging, with data that is above that is required or supported in existing MT message formats where possible. Includes fields which will support transmission of more information about the identities of those involved in the payments and the purpose of the payment.
The SWIFT Standardised Corporate Environment SCORE+ provides standardize financial messaging between corporates and banks over the SWIFT network. Leverage ISO 20022 standards, SWIFT security and interoperability to enhance automation and multi-bank integration.
The SWIFT Universal Confirmation (UC) provides an ISO 20022-compliant XML message that can be used to confirm both MT103 and pacs.008 by providing confirmations to the SWIFT GPI Tracker. The Tracker enables participants to track payments status in real time via end-to-end tracking database that is hosted by SWIFT.
The SWIFT Global Payment Innovation (GPI) tracker messages enables member banks to track payment statuses in real time through an end-to-end tracking database, incorporated by SWIFT. Includes ISO 20022 XML compliant messages used for payment status updates, reporting, trace and alert notifications.
- SWIFT gpi Customer Credit Transfer (gCCT), first service implemented as part of the gpi initiative. Offers enhanced payment services thru faster, same day use of funds, (within the time zone of the receiving gpi customer), transparency of deducts, end-to-end payments tracking, remittance information transferred unaltered.
- SWIFT gpi Instant Payments (gCCT Inst) is a gCCT transaction used for cross-border real-time payments.
- SWIFT gpi for Corporates (g4C) service allow g4C corporates receive standardised and consistent payment statuses from their g4C banks that can easily be centralised and integrated into their Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
- SWIFT gpi Cover Payments (gCOV) which is part of the gCCT service. The gCOV service is designed to further increase the timely processing of gCCT transactions by expediting credit to the beneficiary of the cover and facilitating its reconciliation with the underlying credit transfer.
- SWIFT gpi Financial Institution Transfer (gFIT) service focuses on financial institution transfers and was designed to support financial institutions with monitoring of their settlement risk and counterparty exposure, intraday liquidity management and forecasting an improved operational efficiency.
The SWISS SIC RTGS is a real Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) payment systems operated by SIX Interbank Clearing on behalf of and under the oversight of the Swiss National Bank. SIC facilitates the swift, secure and efficient transfer of large-value payments in Switzerland.
