This document describes the functions provided by the Storage Management menu in QMGTOOLS.

To access the Storage Management menu from the Must Gather Data Collector menu:
GO QMGTOOLS/MG => Internals => Storage Management Menu
You can also access the Storage Management menu directly: GO QMGTOOLS/STGMGT
Storage Management menu:
Temporary Storage Menu
Directory Dump Menu
Check "The Usual Storage Suspects"
Auxiliary Storage Summary
SYSBASE PERM SM size
This option calculates the SYSBASE permanent directory size. An example of how this size is used for is calculating how much memory is needed for an ASP balance:

| Signon user ID/password | Signon information to IBM i partition |
| Verify signon user password | Verify password for signon to IBM i partition |
| SST user ID | SST signon information |
| SST verify user password | Verify password for SST signon |
