Error description

  • Executing a map with the HTTP Adapter -SNI command generates an
    error:
    SSLLastSocketError: Failure message = GSK Error Code: 415,
    GSK_ERROR_BAD_PEER..  SD: 15536 , SSL: 0000022CA2CB3520, Error:
    415, ERRNO: 0

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
    IBM Transformation Extender users using any HTTP/S adapter user
    who is needing Server Name Indication feature.
    
    
    Problem Description:
    The HTTP adapter's "-SNI" flag was not recognized nor activated
    whenever Server Name Indication functionality as required.
    
    
    Platforms Affected:
    All
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Server Name Indication (SNI) capability is now activated in
    the HTTP adapter. Before this fix, the SNI option was parsed but
    never activated in the HTTP connection object.
    
    Applies to:
    11.0.1.0
    
    Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
