Troubleshooting
Problem
The Storage Virtualize systems (IBM Storage FlashSystem and IBM SAN Volume Controller) monitored using Data collector will have performance collection failing post December 31st 2024 midnight. Performance Monitoring status will be failed or "Device not providing valid performance data".
All other type of Storage Systems and SAN Switches are not impacted.
Impact:
Performance data on IBM Storage Insights is not available for any of IBM Storage Virtualize system after December 31st 2024. There will be a gap in performance data monitoring till the fix is deployed.

Resolving The Problem
The problem has been identified, and fix is delivered as data collector upgrade.
- The Performance Collection has already resumed on the tenants where Data Collector auto-upgrade is enabled.
- Please upgrade the data collector manually if auto-upgrade is disabled.
