Field fixes
Ticket No. Description Severity
41393 Problem: Registry curl failed for update operator even though it was accessible in the cluster.
Fix: In version 2.9, the registry access is no longer a blocker for upgrades. They are shown as warnings to the user.
Normal
39910 Problem: On a proxy configured rack, both LLA and IPV6 updates were incorrect.
Fix: This issue got introduced in proxy enabled racks on the customer sites. On debugging, it was found that few nodes ipv6 and LLA were missing in proxy list of the cluster. Hence, there was no connectivity established with those nodes. Fix was provided in 2.9 release.
Normal
37415 Problem: The compute-0 node firmware upgrade failed
Fix: The PodDisruptionBudgets (PDB) objects created by Red Hat AMQ Streams prevent node cordoning during upgrades when multiple pods are scheduled on the same node. Added pod anti-affinity to prevent Red Hat AMQ Streams pods from getting placed on the same nodes.
