Abstract
This document contains the system requirements for IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0.

The IBM Software Product Compatibility Reports (SPCR) tool provides complete lists of supported operating systems, system requirements, prerequisites, and optional supported software for all IBM App Connect Enterprise versions, including IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0. The SPCR tool links to information about the minimum product levels that must be installed before you open a problem report with IBM App Connect Technical Support. The software versions and any maintenance levels that are listed in the tool are explicitly verified as working.
Virtualization environments
Defect support is available for virtualization environments where they relate to releases of a platform that IBM App Connect Enterprise already supports. IBM does not troubleshoot issues that are caused solely by running in a virtualized environment.
The Server virtualization policy for IBM software contains further information.
The IBM App Connect Enterprise on-premises installation is supported on any virtualized environment that presents an operating system image that is compatible with those operating systems described in supported system requirements, which includes Docker.
When you use an on-premises installation, IBM provides defect support for IBM App Connect Enterprise. However, IBM does not support any customization that is written by a customer to present the IBM App Connect Enterprise installation to the virtualization technology. As an example, IBM would not fix a problem in a Dockerfile that was custom-written by the customer.
IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container on IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) / Red Hat OpenShift:
For IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container, IBM supports the entire stack including operator and images fully on Red Hat OpenShift + Common Services.
IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container on third-party Kubernetes:
For IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container, IBM supports the operator and images when used with the operator.

IBM App Connect Enterprise certified container images / Dockerfile on third-party Kubernetes:
For IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM supports the IBM App Connect Enterprises images as listed in the ACE Documentation
IBM supports the use of the "ace" image only on any Kubernetes environment that uses one of the following virtualization technologies:
- Docker
- CRI-O
- containerd
OT4I Dockerfile:
Using the Dockerfile in ot4i IBM provides defect support for the IBM App Connect Enterprise product and build scripts hosted on ot4i. IBM does not support any customization written by a customer to present the IBM App Connect Enterprise install to the virtualization technology. For example, IBM would not fix a problem in a Dockerfile that was custom-written by the customer.
The defect support provided by IBM is for customers with valid support contracts for the IBM App Connect Enterprise product where the virtualization environment presents an Operating System image that is compatible with supported system requirements

SPCR tool available for all software products:
The SPCR tool includes information for all IBM products. Through the tool, you can obtain the supported operating systems, system requirements, and optional supported software for a product version of your choice. To generate the reports, take the following steps:
- Go to the Detailed system requirements for a specific product in SPCR page.
- Search for the relevant product, then select the exact product from the search results.
- Select the appropriate version.
- Optionally, select the operating systems, product components, product containers, and capabilities that you need.
- Click Submit to generate the report.
