App Connect container offerings are delivered through a Support Cycle release model. We have the following support cycles available for 2026.
- From March 2026, there is a new Support Cycle-3 (SC-3) release starting with version number 13.0.0. This is a continuation of the latest CD release 12.21.0. The intention is to provide regular releases with new features, function and fixes. Each release will update the second digit. All releases will be supported until the base support transition date provided it is on a supported OS, additionally there will be an option to purchase up to 4 years extended support.
- The previous CD version number started at 12.1.0 in June 2024 with the last CD release of 12.21.0 in February 2026. All CD releases will be supported for 2 years provided its on a supported OS.
- The current LTS version number starts at 12.0.0 from June 2024 is on Support Cycle-2 (SC2) policy. Only fixes will be provided on this stream and the last digit will update with each fixpack. This will be in base support until December 2026 with the option to purchase one additional year extended fix support. After December 2026, there will no longer be an LTS stream in base support and customers should move to the SC-3 13.0.x release.
To pick up fixes in all models, you must upgrade to the latest Operator & Operand (or custom resource) version which may require upgrading to the latest SC-3 model.
To maintain support entitlement, all releases must be run on a supported Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform version (which might require Red Hat OpenShift Premium subscription for LTS releases), or supported Kubernetes version.
