Abstract

This document provides the part numbers and description for each eAssembly that is required to download a new installation of IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise Service Bus from IBM Passport Advantage.

An enterprise service bus (ESB) is an architectural pattern whereby a centralized software component performs integrations between applications, like a “bus” that picks up information from one application and delivers it to another.

IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise Service Bus 24.0.0.0 is a highly available environment distributed across multiple systems with failover support that uses the clustering mechanism of IBM WebSphere® Application Server.

Downloading the relevant eAssembly images from the IBM Passport Advantage website

Ensure that your workstation has sufficient space to store both the files you must download from IBM Passport Advantage and the extracted installation image.
Go to the IBM Passport Advantage website.
Sign in and download the images that you need to a temporary directory. The parts are listed by platform in the following table.
Required and optional software are labeled in the table. Your need for parts depends on your usage and configuration choices.
Extract the downloaded files to one directory.
