On 28 December 2023, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Component patch 8.6.8.

APAR Application Name Description
DT208277 Work Order Tracking In Work Order Tracking, the Work Order record becomes read-only applying nested Job Plans. If the Job Plan has labor, the Work Order is permanently read-only.
DT224599 System UI Navigating back and forth between Graphite and TPAE applications causes the user to reach the session limit.
DT225631 Report Manage Users should automatically be approved for launching to Cognos from Manage. Only local users need to be "synced" from Manage to CP4D.
DT225634 Report The display name of the CP4D user, not their CP4D username, is used to filter data when a report is executed.
DT237349 Technician The Required tag does not work for Asset and Location fields.
DT237643 Graphical Work Week Work Order Scheduled Start and End dates are not updated when changed in the Graphical Work Week view.

Manually Installing the Patch
  • Log in to Maximo Application Suite Administration as an administrative user.
  • On the left, click Applications.
  • From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
  • In the dialog box, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
  • Under Activation configuration, click your workspace details page link.
  • From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
  • Under Configurations, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
  • In the Maximo Base line, under new version click the down arrow.
  • Select Version. Enter 8.6.8
  • Click Save.
