Abstract

This document provides information about downloading and installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.9.4-IBM-MAS-FP0001 fix. This image includes the installer for the MAS 8.9.4 maintenance release.

Issues addressed in this fix
  •  DT209860 - Case sensitive issue when synchronizing groups
  •  DT197451 - LDAP users being delete after error when communicating with scimsync server
  •  Security updates in base image and python modules
  •  Addition of the following application versions to the Maximo Application Suite UI catalog:
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite Manage 8.5.4
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite Watson IoT Platform tool 8.6.5
    • IBM Maximo Optimizer 8.3.3
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite - Health and Predict - Utilities 8.5.2
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite - Assist 8.6.3
Steps for installing 8.9.4
 
Installing a Maximo Application Suite fix is done in the same way that the original product was installed. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions. For this fix, however, you run the install script that was downloaded as part of the fix instead of the install.sh that came with the original product image.
