An SRC describes a system-detected hardware or software problem, or indicates system status during a long-running function. In most cases, you will need to contact your service representative to resolve problems identified by an SRC.

SRC ranges 0xxxxxxx–9xxxxxxx: Hardware detected error

In the SRCs, 'x' denotes any hexadecimal character.

Dxxxxxxx: System status information shown during delayed power off, main store dump, or other functions when the console is not available.

Search for an SRC in the Software Knowledge Base, PTF Cover Letters, or APAR database using the Search function within each database.
