Abstract

This document provides information about downloading and installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.8.5-IBM-MAS-FP0001 fix. This image includes the installer for the MAS 8.8.5 maintenance release.

Issues addressed in this fix

  • Addition of the following application versions to the Maximo Application Suite UI catalog:
    • IBM Maximo Health 8.4.5
    • IBM Watson IoT Platform  8.5.5
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite Manage 8.4.5
    • IBM Maximo Application Suite Monitor 8.8.3
  • Change to keysize causes certificates to be reissued.
  • Updates FileBeat version to address security requirements.
  • Mongo binding is constantly updated.
  • scimsync-agent is not using the new password generation feature nor the new passwordPolicy.
  • DT173834 - After being logged out of MAS by the idle timeout feature, user should have to enter MAS credentials again to log in.
  • DT178922 - SMTP bindings fail to instances that do not require authentication.
  • Installation of Health Standalone using channel sub via MAS UI can't be done.
  • Applications installation issue when selecting channel subscription with automatic approval set on off.
  • Container images security fixes.
 

Steps for installing 8.8.5

Installing a Maximo Application Suite fix is done in the same way that the original product was installed. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions. For this fix, however, you run the install script that was downloaded as part of the fix instead of the install.sh that came with the original product image.
