  3.2.11 Fix pack 3

  New features and updates

  - FTM for Multiplatforms 3.2.11 fix pack 3 has had updates to its Open Source and Liberty levels to remove security vulnerabilities 
  - Update ISF Schemas ot the latest versions in support of new field requirements for TCH 5.0.

  3.2.11 Fix pack 1

  New features and updates

   

  FTM for Multiplatforms 3.2.11.1 now supports Db2 13 running on z/OS, as follows:

  
      1) Migration of the Db2 13 database (running on z/OS) from FTM 3.2.5.0 to FTM 3.2.11.1. This migration requires the following steps: 
          a. Migration from 3.2.5 to 3.2.6 
          b. Migration from 3.2.6 to 3.2.7 
          c. Migration from 3.2.7 to 3.2.11.1 
   The instructions to do these database migration steps can be found in the Entitled documentation fix pack (download from Fix Central).

   

      2) The creation of the FTM Db2 schema (running on z/OS) for FTM 3.2.11.1.

  Known issues

  This section outlines the known issues and their workarounds (if any). 
   

  Issue 1

  • Users affected: Customers that use Rational Software Architect or Rational Software Architect Designer to develop FTM Models.
  • Summary: The model validation function, used from the graphical user interface or called during the FTM script generation functions, does not fully validate referenced models. Referenced models are models that are included in the main model by using package import relationships.
  • Resolution: Validate each of the referenced models separately.

   

  Issue 2 - Defect 141478

   

  • Users affected: Customers that use IBM App Connect Enterprise 12 and IBM Transformation Extender 10 that leverage email
  • Summary: On Linux, use of the EmailOutput node on IBM App Connect Enterprise 12 when IBM Transformation Extender 10 is installed causes an issue. It seems that the /opt/ibm/wsdtx/extjar/javax.mail-1.5.4.jar is being used instead of the IBM App Connect Enterprise version. Error message: 'com.ibm.broker.emailnodes.EmailOutputNode: jakarta.mail.NoSuchProviderException: smtp' appears in the log. This issue affects the A_EmailOps action provided in the 'Generic Actions' projects. 
  • Resolution: Remove the /opt/ibm/wsdtx/extjar/javax.mail-1.5.4.jar file as a workaround.
